Had a meeting with MnLC (Minnesota State Learning Commons) OER Special Interest Group where we discussed the LiDA103 course. At least two of us among our membership are currently participating in the course. My summary of my experiences and the other participant led to a number of discussion threads from the international perspective gained by participating in courses such as these, the weight and credibility of this type of learning, comparisons to the Creative Commons certification curriculum and emphasis of focus on higher education, instead of K-12.
